Earth and Tea Café was created in July 2006 by Aaram Millones. He was inspired after a visit to a tea shop in Washington DC, in the summer of 2006. Initially a simple tea shop was the goal, however after meeting Marielys Leon, a chef from Cuba, and discussing the idea further, an international flare was added to the idea. After a few months of experimentation with dishes and décor, Earth and Tea Café opened in downtown Harrisonburg in January 2007. The business has evolved over the years to include a greater assortment of teas, wide variety of international dishes.

The people behind Pale Fire Brewing Co. love the moment creativity is sparked and the fact that there is generally a great beer close by. The big idea, scribbled first on a bar napkin. Friends noodling around guitars, who suddenly realize they’ve hit on something great. Stories, told around a campfire, when nobody has a clue what time it is. Great beer is there.
Pale Fire Brewing Co. is part of the Shenandoah Beerwerks Trail and the Shenandoah Spirits Trail.

Three Notch’d Brewing Co. will never be as legendary as some of the most revered characters in Virginia history, but they do aim to leave their humble mark in the work of craft beer. As they evolve from their beginnings, and get to know all of you, they look forward to brewing great beer, while telling the stories of some of the greatest characters in American History – from a very unique Virginian-craft brew perspective. From Jack Jouett, to Thomas Jefferson and Patrick Henry; and from John Brown to Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee, their brewery will develop around bold characters that left their mark on our country’s history.
